Packaging Error

Post by stcemail »

Started PrimalForms 2009.
Selected "New Package Script".
Copied/Pasted Write-Host "Hello World".
Selected "Package and Run" without credentials and for Win32 as "NoCreds.exe".

Output did not generate the words "Hello World" anywhere.

Selected "Package and Run" and copied/pasted Userid: StarGazer5TestUser Password: password into the appropriate fields and selected for Win32 as "WithCreds.exe".

Received the "Login error" dialog box.

Emailing zipped file of both scripts now to support@sapien.com

Yeah I know it won't create output, it' s a specialized forms only host. But the important part is, they did not crash. Can you also wrap a script where the package crashes and email that too? Thanks.

Actually I have one more question. Does the crash only occur if you specify credentials?

Yes. I only get the "Application generated an error" crash if I specify credentials for my domain. When I did it with your credentials I received the "Login error" dialog box. When I did it with our domain credentials, "Application error" crash.

If I don't specify credentials, it runs fine.stcemail2011-05-17 11:12:00

Emailing....along with what I think is causing the crashing for the credentials.

System.IO.FileNotFoundExceptionThat indicates a problem within your script not with the credentials provided. Can you provide more information as to what this script is trying to do?

While likely not related to your issue : our issue stems from a special character in the password. SAPIEN is awaiting a reply from Microsoft for that one.

All of the passwords I have tried include special characters. I have tried this with a blank form and it generates the same error message.
