SQLPS Module Empty

Product, version and build: PowerShell Studio 2016 5.2.119
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64 bit
Operating system: Windows 8.1 Ent
32 or 64 bit OS: 64 bit
PowerShell Version: 5

I'm required to create a script to automate the verifying SQL database backups. It's the first time I've been requiring the SQL module so far and so I don't know if this is a new problem or just one that I didn't notice before.

I have the SQL 2014 SSMS installed. Just the Management Studio, I don't have any other SQL component installed such as the Database Engine.

I have the SQLPS module installed under C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\120\Tools\PowerShell\Modules as shown in the screen shot and the output of Get-Module -ListAvailable

However in the Object Browser the module appears empty and when I import the module that is there, it doesn't provide any CmdLets.

I've tried installing the PS pack SQL2014 Feaature Pack but that's been unsuccessful too. Ive also looked through all combinations of V2, V4 and V5 and 32bit and 64bit modules.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are going to email you instructions and a link to a script and that should help generate the necessary cache files. If there are any errors please let us know.
