PowerShell Studio 2016 is still marking a script as modified if breakpoints are set or removed

Post by FrankAndrew »

Product, version and build: PowerShell Studio 2016 5.2.117
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64bit
Operating system: Windows 7 Enterprise
32 or 64 bit OS: 64bit

PowerShell Studio 2016 is still marking a script as modified if breakpoints are set or removed.

All I did here was to set or remove some breakpoints:
Tab text in the Editor
Tab text in the Editor
Setting_breakpoints_causes_PSS_to_think_that_script_was_modified_1.png (2.87 KiB) Viewed 1490 times
When I try to close PSS 2016 I get the following Dialog:
Dialog when closing PSS 2016
Dialog when closing PSS 2016
Setting_breakpoints_causes_PSS_to_think_that_script_was_modified_2.png (6.1 KiB) Viewed 1490 times
The script was NOT modified by me AT ALL.

ONLY your hidden file: Test_PowerShell_Studio_2015_BreakPointSetting_DuringExecution.TempPoint.ps1 was modified!

The file appears modified because the breakpoint info is actually stored via a secondary stream.
