Matching (),{},[],"" and ''

Post by PGomersall »

I like that you have added a match when you type the first character of a matching pair.
However it would be really an improvement if you do not match if the first character of a pair is up against the left character of some text block.
e.g. Foreach ($var in $Vars - so typing the ( when it is up against text should result in only the single (.
How you could implement this as i believe it would be improvement.

Pete

It is really hard to determine user intent and please everybody at the same time. This is why we kept it simple and added the wrapping commands:

But I will bring this up with the dev team.
