PowershellStudio Packager Unable to enter password with @

Post by jym5960 »

Hi,

I have PowerShell Studio 2015 x64 v4.2.83

When building EXE from PS1, I am unable to password input @ ( commercial @)

In fact, all characters needing AltGr: \ @ ^ | ... cannot be entered in a password input.

These characters can be entered into normal text input, but not in password input.

All working fine in .PS1, but NOT in .EXE

Please define "cannot be entered"
Is this not recognized as a keystroke?
Is delivering a wrong password?
What keyboard/language setting?

Unable to keystroke at the keyboard
Unable to copy/paste special chars as €~#{[|`\@]}¤
Special char ^ is working ???

In the screenshot, if I copy P@ss, only Pss is pasted

Using french keyboard on french and english systems.

Run the exe from a powershell console and see if that problem exists there as well.

Already done that.

When I launch .EXE from PS Console, cannot keystroke any characters €~#{[|`@]}¤

When I launch the source code .PS1 from PS Console, I have no issue.

The problem is only special keystrokes from .EXE
