Activation Ports

I'm having an issue activating our powershell studio 2014. I believe it's our web filter. I'm able to use a trial key with no problem, but our subscription number doesn't work and errors with "invalid username and password combination" and I can log into the support site with the same information with no problem. Unless there is another issue I'm missing.

Can you possibly say what port or ports are used for activation and IP's or DNS names? That way I can send that to our security department to open the required ports and IP's.

Thanks!

Thank you for posting, RepublicSysEng.

Did you remember to include the following?
  • 1. Product, version and build (e.g. Product: PowerShell Studio 2014, Version & Build: 4.1.71. Version and build information can be found in the product's About box accessed by clicking the blue icon with the 'i' in the upper right hand corner of the ribbon.)
    2. Specify if you are running a 32 or 64 bit version
    3. Specify your operating system and if it is 32 or 64 bit.
    4. Attach a screenshot if your issue can be seen on the screen
    5. Attach a zip file if you have multiple files (crash reports, log entries, etc.) related to your issue.
If not, please take a moment to edit your original post or reply to this one.

Sometimes unusual characters in the password can prevent the activation process. If you do have any usual characters, please temporarily change you password before activating and let us know if it works.

That did it! Thank you. We had a back slash in the password.
