Packaged EXE Leaving Open File Handle

When you create an exe you have to select a Platform on a combobox: Forms, Windows, CommandLine etc. The option is in the General Tab of the Script Packager Dialog. David

Packaged EXE Leaving Open File Handle

Post by davidc »

I tested with Windows 2008 R2 and the file closed after the executable terminated. But a simple action such opening a shared folder could trigger the file to be flagged as opened. This could be caused by another process such as your anti-virus. Note: When a package exits the process terminates
and all handles (file or otherwise) are closed by default. This is an OS rule and
if some OS version do not comply it is likely that the OS has a bug and you should report it to Microsoft.
