How can i get Write-SqlTableData to work in PS?

Post by MarkKraska »

Product, version and build: PowerShell Studio 2020 5.7.172.0
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64 bit
Operating system: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
32 or 64 bit OS:

Trying to use the cmdlets from SQLSERVER (old SQLPS) 'Write-SqlTableData' and 'Read-SQLTableData' but they are not recognized terms in PStudio.
The module is installed. I verified with ModuleManager, and it is the latest version (21.1.18218)

These cmdlets make easy work of updating SQL tables.

We can't find any issues working with all of the cmdlets in SQLServer lastest module.

Make sure, after installing the module, that you click on the "Rebuild Local Cache". This will update the Object Browser making all module cmdlets discoverable in PowerShell Studio.
