New File menu - 171

Post by Lembasts »

Whilst I appreciate efforts to improve things like the file menu, I was a big user of the recents and had pinned quite a few of them. Don't suppose you could have kept those on the upgrade?

Thanks - I installed 172 and everything came back.
Something else though...
When I click on the file menu, mostly it opens up expanded - i.e. I can see both the recently open and recent projects 'windows' side by side.
However sometimes it opens up collapsed and I only get half the recently open displayed with a scrollbar.
Id prefer it always opening expanded if possible.

I'm happy we were able to resolve the issue of the missing pins and recent documents for you.

As for the other issue you have reported, I have been able to reproduce this behavior and have filed a bug report for the development team. The menu should always open expanded. When I have more information, I'll post here.
