PS Studio - Window Behaviour - dragging screen

Post by rasdella »

Product, version and build: 5.6.167
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64
Operating system:
32 or 64 bit OS: Windows 10 - 1709 (x64)

Can you please confirm if this particular issue I am experiencing is likely due to Windows 10 in my environment rather than PS Studio or if I am missing the option to control this 'annoying behaviour' - Thanks in advance.

I have a dual screen workstation 2 x 22" screens. If I click on the PS Studio Ribbon while it is maximized and begin to drag it - for example to place the PS Studio window on a different screen, the PS Studio Window minimises to a very small Window. I then drag it and have to re-maximise it on the other screen. On all my other applications / tools - the Window retains its original size at the point of dragging / re positioning to a different position / screen

I have deleted my Windows 10 profile - the behaviour was immediately present. Apologies if this is some out of the box setting - I have not been able to locate it

Further to - after some backwards and forwards - I have resized my PSStudio Window 'Restore Down' to the default size and can move / reposition this correctly - If I go back to Maximize and then try and drag / reposition the Window - it reverts back to the tiny Window. Probably controlled via Windows?

This most likely is a Windows issue.
What is the resolution and scaling of both your monitors?

I am set at 1680 x 1050 - 100% scaling on both screens. Interestingly, I went to to 1280 x 1024 and used PS Studio without issues. Logged off, back on and went back up to 1680 x 1050 - and the issue hasn't returned as yet. Some type of memory within the graphics / Windows 10 appears to have been reset with the changes to the resolution and going back up to 1680 x 1050.

Thanks

Has this issue occurred before or is this recent to the latest build(v167)?
