Project to EXE file

Post by miketartaglia » Fri Mar 29, 2019 2:02 pm

I have copied a .psf file into a new blank project. However I no longer have the option to create an EXE file. The Packager settings are all grayed out. Let me know if I am supposed to be able to create an EXE file from a project or not. Please let me know what I need to do to create an EXE file. I moved this file to a new project as this has become something that needs more organization. SEE BELOW for product specs.

To help you better we need some information from you.

*** Please fill in the fields below. If you leave fields empty or specify 'latest' rather than the actual version your answer will be delayed as we will be forced to ask you for this information. ***

Product, version and build: 5.6.160
32 or 64 bit version of product:64
Operating system:Windows 10
32 or 64 bit OS:64

*** Please add details and screenshots as needed below. ***

If you used the Empty Project template, then yes you should be able to package the project into an executable. The only project that doesn't let you package is the module project.

Just in case, close the project and reopen it and one.
If you can, please post a screenshot showing the project panel and the disabled buttons.

Looks like you were using a collection project. Which depends on the project settings:
