Ever since I upgraded PowerShell Studio, no matter what I do, even a simple "Hello World" I get the same error when I press RUN.

>> Debugging (DownTest.ps1) Script...
>> Platform: V5 64Bit
The system cannot find the file specified

Here is the script:

Seems like the dependent executable that runs the script might be missing.

Please check the following folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SAPIEN Debugger 2019\

There should be about eight different ScriptDriverXXXX executables in this folder. If they are missing, try reinstalling the software.

They are missing, but I re-installed it several times now.
Still missing!

Where can I get them?

Wait,

The folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SAPIEN Debugger 2019\" does not exists, but there is a folder:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAPIEN Common"

and in there is only one file "FormThumbnailProviderx64.dll".

It's going to located in the 32-bit (x86) program files if you are using a 64-bit OS.

There is no SAPIEN directory of any kind in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files

Very strange.

I have a few more questions for you:

1. What OS version do you have installed? In the about box you can copy the necessary support info see the following article:

2. Did you install the x64 or x86 version?
3. Are you using antivirus software? Please check if any files were quarantined during the installation.

Also, please run the installer with logging:

Code: Select all

Installer.exe /exenoui /qn /L*v .\SPS_Install.log
Then zip and upload the generated log here:

Thank you

Hello David,

Here is the Version Info:

Product: PowerShell Studio 2019 (64 Bit)
Build: v5.6.156
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise (64 Bit)
Build: v10.0.17134.0

I do not use an anti-virus except for the one built in Windows 10.
I believe I installed the 64 bit version, not sure if it gave me a choice. Oh wait, yes, I just saw the download file, it is the 64bit version.
There were no quarantined files during the install.

I will do the install zip file in a minute
