To help you better we need some information from you.

*** Please fill in the fields below. If you leave fields empty or specify 'latest' rather than the actual version your answer will be delayed as we will be forced to ask you for this information. ***

Product, version and build: PowerShell Studio 2018 - Version 5.5.154
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64
Operating system:Windows 10 - Build 1803
32 or 64 bit OS:64

*** Please add details and screenshots as needed below. ***
After performing the upgrade to the latest version, when I go to file explorer and try to open up a psproj file, it tries to install something and then prompts me for a source file with a message saying The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

I had this problem with the last update too and I had to uninstall PSS and reinstall it to get it fixed. We have other people that have reported this same issue as well.

Generally this happens when Windows Installer thinks parts of an installed application are no longer there or corrupted.
It will try to repair or re-install those items on the fly and if that fails or the condition wasn't true to begin with, you get this rather generic and often misleading error message.
It is hard to tell why this happens on your machine (googling 'The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is
unavailable' will give you an assortment of possible remedies), but in general an uninstall and re-install can fix the issue.
If that does not help, please let us know and we dive into the details of installed prerequisites to determine what actually might be missing.
