Corrupted file?

Post by SakJaTeda »

Product, version and build: PowerShell Studio 2018 v5.5.149
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64
Operating system: Windows 10 Enterprise
32 or 64 bit OS: 64

Hello,

I was recently building a forms application, then had a break, closed PowerShell Studio and when I came back to it, tried opening the file, I am getting: "The selected file is currently not accessible. Remove from list?" (see attachment) - this is when I try opening it from the Start Page. When opening via "File->Open", nothing at all happens. There are other files in the same folder, all of them work. When I copy the file to a different folder, nothing changes. I do not see any issues in the file's security - it is not hidden, nor read-only and I have Full control, and am the owner of the file. When I open it in other editors (tried Notepad++ and PrimalPad), it opens and is editable. Tried copy-pasting the content to a fresh file as well, to no avail. Is there any way to recover from this, or just start from scratch?

Thank you!

Please attach the file here or email it to support@sapien.com so we can have a look.

It looks like the Error Image may have caused the corruption. Can you send the original error image file to us as well? This way we can try to recreated the issue on our end.

Thank you

Sure, sent it to the above e-mail address. It is the same as the Initial Image, by the way.

Thanks for looking into it!

We found the problem. The good news is that the file is not corrupted. The problem is in the loading process and it will be resolved in the next service release.

We will try to release the build as soon as possible.

We released the service build (v5.5.150). Please install this build and let us know if you are able to edit your file.
