Form Display Issue with Different Resolutions

Post by brandonlinton »

Product, version and build: Powershell Studio 1.0.26
32 or 64 bit version of product: x64
Operating system: Windows 10 Enteprise x64 RS3 1709
32 or 64 bit OS: x64

Hi,

I created a form on my laptop which has a resolution of 3000x2000. My form looks great but when i tested this on different sytems with varying resolutions it was horrible. I dont really get the anchoring and docking stuff i have tried it but all this ends up doing is moving my buttons etc. all over the form in areas i dont want them... I can force the systems into a standard resolution for a temporary time so i can have a consistent resolution say 1280x1024 since this is only displayed in WinPE and the resolution gets reset anyway. Question is how do i get Powershell Studio to scale it down in size to look appropriate on a 1280x1024 resolution? When i manually change my system to this and restart Powershell Studio my form still looks great so something isnt working properly...

TIA
Brandon

It would probably be best if you attached a few screenshots of your form as you see it in various resolutions. That would allows us to better judge what recommendations would work best for you.
