region indenting

Post by davestiff »

PowerShell Studio 2017 5.4.143 64-bit
Windows 8 64-bit

I like indenting the lines in my #region...#endregion sections for readability.

PS Studio fights against me and left-justifies the lines. Every new line or ENTER press puts the lines to the left margin again and I have to manually put them back.

Is this a known issue?

This is the intended behavior. Comment indentation follows the same rules that code does.

But you can disable auto-formatting when you press enter, by unchecking the following option:

Options->Formatting->Triggers->Automatically format statement on new line
