Hi,

I have this Powershell studio project (an exe) I share on a Windows 2012 R2 server via a remote app.
The users who start this remote app run the exe and can then query ad users, check health of a computer etc.

Now I see that sometimes the form hangs, even when jobs are used in the form.
Is this a known issue, iow should I modify the exe or project in some way if it runs in a remote app/on windows 2012 R2 to optimize its responsiveness?

Hope my question is clear, if it is please advise.

Thanks for your input.
S.

If you're getting a form that hangs even when you're using jobs to keep everything in the background, there's most likely something else going on with the script.

Are you able to upload the script so we can take a look at it? If you prefer, you can upload it to https://sapien.com/support/upload and only SAPIEN Employees can see it. This will help us tremendously in narrowing down the cause of the issue.

Note: I'd be really happy to share the project once done, but need to first optimize script and get all sensitive data out of it then.

I've looked through your script and don't see anything blatant that could cause the issue. I recommend going to the PowerShell GUI's forum and asking there but in the meantime, I'll speak with the team and see what I can find out and get back to you.
