PowerShell Version: 5
Hello,
as per subject I am trying to use PowerShell studio with our TFS Server, I've installed the MSSCCI Provider which is correctly recognized by PSS but when I try to add a new projct/script to repository with Add to Source Control I get a success message but nothing acutally happens on TFS so I need to either use VS or Source Control Explorer to actually create the folder/script in TFS repository.
I have found a rather old post on this viewtopic.php?f=12&t=9684&start=10 but I was wondering if there is an alternate solution to the custom menu (not a big deal but I would rather use the Add to... for a matter of simplicity).
Thanks in advance.

Re: Source Control Add to.. - Issue with TFS
The application submits a request via the MSSCCI Provider, after that point it is hard to tell what happening. We will have to try to recreate the issue on our end.
Can you post a screenshot of the message or of any dialog after adding the Project / directory to source control?
And what version of TFS are you using?
Thank you,

Re: Source Control Add to.. - Issue with TFS
Hello David,
sorry for the late reply, TFS version is 2013 (I don't know the HF level as I don't manage that directly but I can find it out if needed).
I've uploaded a zip with screenshots of the whole process, I just got a warning about converting to workspace to server (rather than local) which I did but still result is the same.
Let me know if you need any further information or detail from my side.

Re: Source Control Add to.. - Issue with TFS
PowerShell Studio only produces the first dialog (image 1), the rest are from TFS, which leads me to believe the bug on their end. Especially if it is reporting it created the project even though it didn't.
As I mentioned, we only submit a request to create the project via the MSSCCI Provider API and wait for a reply. I wonder if this is still an issue with later versions of TFS. In either case, we will try to reproduce it.

Thanks David,
in the meantime I will try to follow up with our TFS admin and see if he can see anything on his side, in the meantime I will continue using VS for the upload.
