[Feature Request]RootModule for new ModuelManifests

Post by CermakPOI »

Product, version and build: PowerShell Studio 2017 v5.4.134
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64
Operating system: Win10
32 or 64 bit OS: 64
PowerShell Version: 5.1.14393.693

I created a Module and the Test-ModuleManifest shows me:

Code: Select all

WARNING: The module manifest member 'ModuleToProcess' has been deprecated. Use the 'RootModule' member instead.
Could you update the Template for new Modules?

Thank you for reporting this.

We will need to investigate this further before making any changes. We want to make sure any changes to the manifest are backwards compatible with older versions of PowerShell.
