UAC popup on Run or Debug

Post by renenielsen »

Product, version and build:PowerShell Studio 2019, Version 5.6.156
32 or 64 bit version of product: 64
Operating system:Windows 10
32 or 64 bit OS:64

Since my upgrade to PowerShell Studio 2019 I've been getting a User Account Control popup requesting permission for PrimalScript 2019 to make changes to my device. This occurs for both a Run or Debug request.

The program being accessed is : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SAPIEN Debugger 2019\scriptdriver64Elevated.exe"

Please advise.
Thanks

If you want to run or debug a script elevated (you selected that on the ribbon) you get a UAC prompt if your system is configured to do so when a process asks for elevation.
If you did not intent to run or debug your script elevated, turn it off. Otherwise it is normal behavior of Microsoft Windows.
