RSEE 2015 Install and Use Issue

Post by softlicense »

Good morning. Two issues with RSEE 2015

Installing RSEE 2015 on a clean VM generated an error:

Module C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SAPIEN Common\PrimalHost.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147024770. Contact your support personnel.

Once the dll was registered (using regsvr32) remotely debugging a script returns a 1619 error. If I run the same script from the vm using cscript <script name> it works correctly. It appears that the remote debugger is still not working properly.

VM System: Windows 7 x64
RSEE 2015 (x64) version: 2.1.21.0

Any thoughts?

Thank you for posting, softlicense.

Did you remember to include the following?
  • 1. Product, version and build (e.g. Product: PrimalScript 2014, Version & Build: 7.0.46. Version and build information can be found in the product's About box accessed by clicking the blue icon with the 'i' in the upper right hand corner of the ribbon.)
    2. Specify if you are running a 32 or 64 bit version
    3. Specify your operating system and if it is 32 or 64 bit.
    4. Attach a screenshot if your issue can be seen on the screen
    5. Attach a zip file if you have multiple files (crash reports, log entries, etc.) related to your issue.
If not, please take a moment to edit your original post or reply to this one.

Most likely you are missing Visual Studio 2012 runtimes.
Check which, if any, are installed on that VM.
