Syntax Highlighting not working with C code

Post by trentwhiteley@gainco.com »

On version 4 I never had to do anything to get C syntax highlighting in PrimalSense. With the new version, I can't seem to get any C code to highlight. I've looked at the Tools->Options->TextEditor->PrimalsSense menu, but nothing has worked yet. Am I missingsomething obvious?

I just open a C file and I get syntax highlighting just fine.
You mention PrimalSense as well, so I suspect we are not quite talking about the same thing.
Can you give a more specific example?
Or send the file in question (zipped) to support at sapien.com,
along with a description what you expect to happen and a screenshot.
Please also include exactly what edition and build you are using.

Syntax Highlighting not working with C code

Thank you for sending your file.
PrimalScript cannot recognize that this is a C file since it has the extension ".LIB"

Go to Tools - Options - Environment - Languages
Select C/C++
Add LIB to the list of recognized extensions.
Since this is not a default extension for C you must have made this change in PrimalScript 4. You should be able to look it up in the same location.
