Alt-Highlighting blocks of text

Post by pasdargent »

I'm not sure if this is a bug or an intended behavior. . .

When I press ALT and highlight a block of text then CTRL-C to copy it, if I paste that text somewhere else in the script, it overwrites text below it. I've ensured that OVR (overwrite) is not turned on so, I would imagine, the inserted text should move existing text and insert without overwriting. Or is this behavior by design?

No, it should insert it. I'll check into it.

Alt-Highlighting blocks of text

The script in question has too much proprietary information from my client and I feel a bit uneasy sending it in. To replicate, simply open any script (it's not particular to only one script), alt-highlight a block of code and attempt to paste it somewhere else in that script. The behavior I see is it overwrites instead of inserts.

Nope, doesn't here.
I'll email you some screenshots and you tell me if I am doing something different.
