FTP Explorer / RDP

Post by djlurch »

Alex:Over the holiday I remotely accessed my development server (DS). I booted up PS on the DS and used the FTP explorer. As sometimes happens, the FTP explorer behaved funny and the RDP session became corrupt. I was unable to access my DS over RDP until a few hours later.I cannot say for sure that FTP flakiness is to blame, but due to my experience with the FTP Explorer occasionally locking up, it (might) be responsible.Note that the DS was still trying to access my production web server. I know this because I RDP'd into the web server. The FTP Server software still showed an FTP connection to the DS.Not sure if there is anything you can do about the situation, but I did want to remind you to be on the lookout for addressing the FTP Explorer flakiness.

Also, I have to say the 531 is running very nicely. Looks like the bugs were squashed and a few other issues addressed! Whoot! Can't wait for the next release.
