StarTeam Source Control - Can it be done?

Post by Foyman1973 »

My company uses StarTeam 2008 for source control. Browsing around the web seems to indicate that it is somehow possible to integrate it into PrimalScript 2009. Is it possible and how do I do it?

StarTeam Source Control - Can it be done?

If StarTeam has a Microsoft Source Control API compatible interface, yes you can.
Please see chapter 8 in the PrimalScript manual.

Ok, well Chapter 8 is pretty slim on helpful information. So back to Google I went.

To help out anyone else coming along here's the answer for you:

Go to Borland/MicroFocus website and download the MicrosoftSCC Integration package for StarTeam 2008. Here's the URL: http://www.borland.com/downloads/downlo ... tions.html
Install that package and then StarTeam will show in the provider list. I also re-ran the Toolscan.exe after installing, not sure if that was necessary or not.
