right nexus error

Post by hool@rogers.com »

i'm using windows xp, primalscript 4.1 pro. when i choose View->Right Nexus Window , the the window appears only as a very thin sliver that is docked on the right hand pane of the code panel. i un-dock it, and am not able to resize it to any kind of viewable size. it remains a tall, very thin (10 pixels or so wide) window. i can only close it. how can i fix this?

It could be that the nexus is set to autohide.
Hover the mouse over the nexus for a second or two and see if it folds out.
If not, move the mouse cursor slowly across the border, it should change to a resize cursor, at which stage you can left click and drag it to the size you want.

If all the above does not help,

Exit PrimalScript.

Go here in the registry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareSAPIEN Technologies, Inc.PrimalScript Professional4.1Open Dialog2

Set Hide to 0
set with to 300

Restart PrimalScript.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Oh I see. You managed to get it undocked and set to no width.

Exit PrimalScript
Delete this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareSAPIEN Technologies, Inc.PrimalScript Professional4.1WorkspaceState

Start it again.

See if that helps.

Exit PrimalScript.

Export this key

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareSAPIEN Technologies, Inc.PrimalScript Professional4.1

zip and email the reg file to support@sapien.com

Then I can see what is going on.

Ok, Applied your registry file and I saw the effect.

Exit PrimalScript. That is really important.

Delete the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareSAPIEN Technologies, Inc.PrimalScript Professional4.1WorkspaceState

Go to

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareSAPIEN Technologies, Inc.PrimalScript Professional4.1Open Dialog2

Set Hide to 0
set width to 300

Start PrimalScript.
That did it for me.
