Can't Pin Help to Task Bar in Windows 7?

Post by arcanecode » Thu Apr 05, 2012 9:30 am

Anyone have an idea of why I can't pin the PowerShell Help Community tool to my TaskBar in Windows 7? I can pin to start menu, but not task bar, even if I create a shortcut to it. Can't think of any reason why it shouldn't let me do this, has anyone else had this? Thanks,Robert / ArcaneCode

It's a Windows 7 "Feature". Executables that contain certain words can't be pinned.
Rename "PowerShellHelp Community Edition.exe" to
"PowerShellHlp Community Edition.exe"
and it will work.
