I have received your files and was able to reproduce the problem. As expected it is encoding related. We will issue a fix as soon as possible.

The previous version and the current version treat Uniccode file completely different. That could be the problem, but I will find out once I see the files.

It appears that the VMWare installer does not add the snapin to any profile.The object browser uses the registry to find snapins, but the editor does not. You can add a simple line to your user profile:Add-PSSnapin -Name "vmware.vimautomation.core"The user profile is generally located here...

They open fine here, which makes me think there is something to your files it can't understand. Could you zip and email one each (XML and HTML) that show that problem to Support@sapien.com?

Sorry, on a 32 bit system the folder is:C:Program FilesCommon FilesSAPIEN CommonOr your local language equivalent.

A component has not been installed or registered correctly.Navigate to this folder:C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesSAPIEN CommonSee if a file PrimalHost.dll exists.If so, run regsvr32 against it.If not, please re-install and see if the missing file appears.

Ok, let me download and install this and run it through the wringer. It's supposed to get this directly from PowerShell. But with a new release there is always a hiccup or two. I'll have downloaded the snapin, so I am hoping I can give you an answer by tomorrow.

Do you have both the 32 and the 64 bit version installed?
