It took a bit, but I tracked down the code for the mime type settings and believe I have removed the item that was misinterpreting the <preview> tag as evil. You should no longer have to zip (or edit) psf files to post them.

We did a few tests and found if you remove the <preview> tags from the PSF, it uploads just fine. Not sure that is any less of a hassle than zipping the file.......

Hello James, We have the forum set to accept PSF files, however, it turns out that Adobe uses the .PSF extension for its Photoshop Proof Settings File. The Forum 'mime sniffs' to ensure that files are indeed what their extensions imply they are and if they are not, reports the following error: "...
