Hmm, Ok, I see the issue on a terminal server session because of the limitation to 16bit colors. Build 561 is not any different.
Doesn't explain what issue the local system would have, but I'll check what we can do about the remote thing and we'll take it from there.

Tools Browser missing icons
Actually the rendering is different. The dialog does not use alpha blend icons because it renders on a solid color background. There where no changes regarding icon loading or rendering code from 561 to 562. I have the same basic Intel setup as you on three laptops all running 562. When you say &quo...

PowerShell can take a bit to load, specially when your profile contains snap-in modules. That is why we moved the loading part to a background thread. It basically eliminates the delay you saw in previous builds when opening your first powershell file. If your system is under heavy load a background...

Hmm, the tools browser creates an icon with an alpha channel for display.

HTML Viewer Issue (PS 2007 / Vista / IE7)
We have verified that this is a Vista issue. Basically the control we use is no longer a part of the Windows OS itself.
The next service build will allow for internal preview again under Vista.
Microsoft Windows XP users are not affected by this.
