Re: Timer Control to Monitor Connection

A timer as opposed to what other methods or controls. Your question is ambiguous. How can you know you are connected at any time? What is your connection method and do you have a connection object?

Re: Need to pass only NOT NULL Hash Table values

$PSBoundParameters Contains a dictionary of the parameters that are passed to a script or function and their current values. This variable has a value only in a scope where parameters are declared, such as a script or function. You can use it to display or change the current values of parameters or ...

Re: Custom column name in datagridview

First you need to learn how to use things like the debugger. Next take some time to learn about how the controls work.

Yes. "Calculated properties" which are also referred to as "computed" properties since the words "computed" and "calculated" are pretty much identical in meaning.

Re: Custom column name in datagridview

Here is the best way to load a DGV. THe way you are doing it does the same conversion twice. Totally unnecessary. #get all checked attributes from listview $checkedAttributes=@() ForEach ($item In $lstviewAttribute.CheckedItems){ $checkedAttributes = $checkedAttributes += $item.Text } #get all enabl...

Re: Custom column name in datagridview

You are specifying that the columns are the properties of the object retrieved. Those will be the column headers. Don't select properties you don't want. You can also use a computed "Select-Object" to reassign names to any property. My best guess is that you either inherited the code or copied it fr...

Re: Move me move me

Move me, move me. Move it, move it, move it! Move it where? Move it anywhere. Where is the any. Over there. Move it, move it, move it. Anywhere, anywhere, anywhere. Over here, over there, anywhere. Best you stay in motion. Newton told us in his little equation. Keep moving! No stopping! All mass mus...

Re: Clear Fields or Not Submit Data on Form Close

There is no "Submit" button on a form. You are thinking of HTML forms. PowerShell Studio WinForms always lose all data when closed. Re-opening a form will have it open with whatever defaults have been set in the form. WinForms do not send data back to the calling form. In PSS the forms controls are ...

Re: Converting ComboBox value to new value

I know this forum is not for ready made solutions to be provided and I'm not asking anybody to design a solution, I am asking how to do a specific thing, as in take the value selected from a list of values and use this to populate another attribute with a different value. I have the rest of the scr...
