Re: Debugging simple PS Script

Windows 7 support ended at the beginning of 2020, meaning we no longer test our products on this OS to verify that it is running as expected.
I have not been able to reproduce this behavior on Windows 10.

Re: How to get PS7 Form executable path/name?

We are paying attention to the issue on GitHub. If Microsoft does not add it in a reasonable amount of time, we will then consider other options, but at this time, we have no plans for a workaround.

Re: Windows Form Message Box Anomaly

This message is generated by PowerShell. From my understanding, we do not suppress any output from PowerShell. I'll talk to the development team and get back to you. In the meantime, please try adding the following line to your script:

Code: Select all

$ProgressPreference = 'SilentlyContinue'

Re: Remove annoying sounds

We do not add any specific sounds. Any sounds you are hearing are from Windows that you need to configure if you do not like it.

Re: How to get PS7 Form executable path/name?

Ah, I see the issue. There is no way to accomplish this at the moment, my apologies for the misunderstanding on my part. The issue is a result of how executables are made in .Net Core. In .Net Core, executable only functions as launcher for the actual application, in this case SAPIEN.CoreWinAppHost....

Re: How to get PS7 Form executable path/name?

I'm not sure what you have tried, but please try the following function to get the path to your executable: function get-scriptdirectory{ if($hostinvocation -ne $null) { Split-Path $hostinvocation.MyCommand.path } else { $invocation=(get-variable MyInvocation -Scope 1).Value Split-Path $invocation.m...

Re: Loading of extra types via using is broken

I'll make a note to talk to the development team, but this is might be expected behavior. The additional using statement should not be needed in MainForm.psf as the using statement adding in Globabls.ps1 is meant to be shared by all other project files. The Globals.ps1 has its property Shared set to...
