Wrong Character Set used in Debug console

Product, version and build: Usually, Products shows it's version in Help » About. I was not able to find the PowerShell Studio. Why doesn't Sapien follows best practices? There is probably no good reason to not display (== hide) this information at the usual place. I use the latest version at this m...

Re: PowerShell Studio: Automatically reload changed files

Hi David, I'm very sorry to say that, but in most situations the free Notepad++ is a much more powerful Editor than Sapien PowerShell Studio. Therefore I'm continuously switching between both Editors to be remarkable faster. There is a 2nd situation where I often have to answer the "reload changed f...

PowerShell Studio: Automatically reload changed files

Good evening

In PowerShell Studio, after confirming to reload the changed Files 60 times, it really gets annyoing.
Please allow us to configure that PowerShell Studio automatically reloads files if another application changed them.

PowerShell Studio: annoying white flickering of the Debug Console while stepping

Good evening At night, it's really annoying to use the PowerShell Studio Debugger, because each debugging-step changes the Debugger Console Background Window from "Dark brown" to "bright white" - just to get filled with the dark brown color again. It would be great if you could fix this bug. Thanks ...

PowerShell Studio: Keyboard-Shortcut to focus the Debug Console command line

Good evening Other IDEs are offering Keyboard-Shortcuts to quickly jump to different IDE Items. For us, in PowerShell Studio, the most missing Keyboard-ShortCut is to jump to the Debug Console command line, so that we can enhance the Debugging experience without having to use the Mouse. Could you pl...

PowerShell Studio: Dynamic Breakpoint: "On Data sent to Console|Pipeline|..."

Good afternoon We often have the question: which Source-Line is responsible for a message which appears on the Console? There are many Write-Host commands in the Code and some Console-Outputs just has a "Iteation: $x" command (without Write-Host), therefore they are really hard to find. Therefore, i...

Small Bug in Document Tab Context Menu: "Copy File Path" should be e.g. "Copy full Filename"

Product, version and build: PowerShell Studio 2017 v5.4.136 Good evening In the context Menu of the Document Tabs, there is an Menu item called "Copy File Path". If we call it, then we get for example: C:\Scripts\PowerShell\ini-Files\Get-IniContent.ps1 This is not what a user expect and I'm very hap...

PowerShell Studio: Disabling the "Find reached the starting point of the search"

Good evening After this post, I'll go to sleep and stop posting usability wishes :-). If you think about enhancing the search function (I've added some wishes before), then please allow us to disable the workflow-breaking "Find reached the starting point of the search" popup. (I thought that this in...

PowerShell Studio: Search: please use the same "Find what" string for all Document Tabs

Good evening I'm very sorry that I write again... I tried to get into the habit of working "the PowerShell Studio way" for some month now, but it really lacks of usual, useful and often great small things and therefore, PowerShell Studio is nice just because it's the only stable platform for PowerSh...

PowerShell Studio: Search: please pre-populate with the word under cursor

Good evening This one is probably a standard in every other editor, too: It would be very helpful if we could enable that search uses the word below the cursor and pre-populates the "find what" string. The logic is simple: - Find Next / Previous act as today - If the cursor is above a word, then the...
