Progress Bar - Get-Mailbox

Good Afternoon,

I have a command that retrieves all mailboxes from our Office 365 tenant but it takes a while to run, how would I create a progress bar to show that my application is retrieving mailboxes?

Thanks for any help.

Re: GUI Error handling issues.

Do we know if this is an issue with powershell studio or if it is a powershell limitation?

Capturing Powershell Errors

EDIT: Apologies I just saw the post below mine to do with handling errors, I think I have the same issue because I am also in a PS-Session to set mailbox permissions. Good Afternoon, I have a GUI form that sets mailbox permissions in Office 365. When a mailbox does not exist I can see the powershell...

Powershell Window within Windows Form

Good Morning,

Is it possible to embed a powershell window (where I can enter cmdlets and such) within a form? Is there a host control I can use in Powershell Studio 2015?

Thanks,

Re: Override Application Exit - NotifyIcon.Visible = $false?

Hi jvierra,

When the application exits the NotifyIcon remains in the taskbar until I wiggle my mouse over it and then it disappears, in order to stop this from happening I would like to be able to do:

$NotifyIcon.Visible = false when the user clicks the 'X' on my form?

Override Application Exit - NotifyIcon.Visible = $false?

Good Evening,

Is it possible to override the Application.Exit() event of my application? The NotifyIcon stays in the taskbar when the application exits and I would like to add some code to make it disappear?

Thanks for any help.

Yes you are right - silly me, I should have just created my own button rather than using the generated one.

Thanks for your help jvierra ;)

Re: Message Box - Ends Script?

You have changed something on the form. It all depends on what form you created and how you altered it. By default the Ok button closes the form. By default any button you add to the form does not close the form. Start here to learn how to use forms: https://www.sapien.com/blog/topics/user-interfac...

Re: Message Box - Ends Script?

You button is configured too close the form. Remove the setting that you added such as "dialogresult" or the button is assigned as a default action on the form. Thanks for the quick reply. I do not understand because my message box is created programmatically - I haven't assigned anything to the Di...

Message Box - Ends Script?

Good Morning,

I am using Powershell Studio 2015, I have a button on a form that when clicked displays a message box, once I click on a button within the message box the entire script ends (closing all of my open forms)?

Please could you explain why this is happening?
