It's already setup as we use smart cards for authentication. Just looking for a way to target 636 while supplying creds.

We have application teams that love to blame the domain controllers for authentication issues. Basically the AD team wants to do a bind the same way as they do in ldp.exe. I told them its unnecessary but deaf ears, was just trying to appease them so they go away :)

It is sent in plain text in this code? Definitely configured for it. [ADSI]"LDAP://mydc:636" prompts for smartcard auth but I want to use get-credential

Declaring empty arrays and adding to them is old school.
