Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Thanks for the reply. I changed it to $progressbar1.Step() but it came up with: ERROR: Method invocation failed because [System.Windows.Forms.ProgressBar] does not contain a method named 'Step'. I looked at the intellisense and saw that it did have the step as a property... EDIT: read through anothe...

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Hi Jvierra, Thank you for your reply. I read through some articles on the web on how to add pass through the variables through to the scriptblock...and found that using in the event: Add-JobTracker -Name $JobName -JobScript $jobscript -UpdateScript $updatescript -CompletedScript $completedscript -Ar...

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Hi Jvierra, I am following through your examples and can understand what you are doing. I noticed that when you passed the variables through you declared the variable $jobname in the Calling reference script and then defined it in the jobtracker form as text. In my case I am trying to pass informati...

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Thank you very much for your demo.

You have given me some ideas of the script block and the update-job (using for-eachobject) and cleared up some questions with what I plan to do.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Thanks Jvierra, I have the main form for all my input boxes and such and then I have a jobprogress form that has my job in it. Is this what you mean? Also why won't my logging function work in the job even if I reference it in the script block? Is this because the script block can only include comma...

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Hi, Thanks Jvierra for the reply.I have had a good long look at the blog post and the example download. It says that in order to pass information I have to create parameters. Following along the article I do this. function SendtoJobProgress { param ( [parameter(Mandatory = $true)] [string]$TxtSRjob,...
