Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Thanks Jvierra, I should have asked the question better. I found out where the properties is. But it only accepts numbers, not a variable like say $count (where that equals to $txtcsvjob,). As it is portrayed in the job progressbar article it has said that the syntax goes like this: $progressbar1.Ma...

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

I have to revisit this again because its coming back with a new set of errors but I know where the problem lies ..I just don't know where in Powershell Studio to set the 'maximum' value of the progress bar. To give a bit of context the progress bar is iterating upwards but I am now getting the error...

Re: Running Custom functions in the JobTracker framework

So are you saying that I cannot define the function within the scriptblock....Would I be able to refer to the function if it is explicitly defined in a global variable or in same form itself?

Running Custom functions in the JobTracker framework

Hi, Thank you for your extensive help with the Jobtracker framework thus far...I am onto the final stages of adding in logging features. I remember Jvierra saying that I can't just define my custom logging function in the script block. I did a bit of reading in previous posts in this forum under: ht...

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Hi there, Thank you for your reply. I have set the value as you have suggested and I now know that it is at least processing it. :) It is however coming up with an error of : Exception setting "Value": "Value of '2' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'minimum' and 'maximum'. ERROR: ...

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Hi there , After my last post I encountered progressbar update issues. I decided to take a step back and reread the entire blog posts on Job Progress control and the Jobtracker framework and piece the whole thing together. From what I understand there are four main pieces to make this thing work. Th...

Re: Example scripts for Powershell Studio?

Easiest way to start and populate the combobox is to do it through the GUI. Select the Combobox. Go to the properties and section and scroll down to the boitom where it says items. Click on the [...] and then add the list that you want one word at a time line by line. IE Company Office Organization....

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Hi Jvierra, Thank you for your guidance on this ones and my other questions that I have had with Powershell Studio. I reviewed the blog post and saw what you meant by the ticker timer and saw that I did not add that to my scriptblock. Once I added that to the script block the pieces fit together. Th...

Re: Calling a form with a job progress control?

Thank you for the reply Jvierra. The progressbar initiates but still doesnt step through I did asd you told meand changed the updatescript to what you said. As it stands: $updatescript = { Param ($aJob) if ($data = $aJob | Receive-Job) { $data | ForEach-Object{ $progressbar1.Increment(1) } } $jobscr...
