Re: [PSS 2014][Bug] Primal Sense for custom c# Library

Hi David, that's what I did (and meant with "adding a custom c# library file [..] to the Available Assemblies"). On a related note: When I started PSS 2014 today, the library was gone from the loaded assemblies for the project and had to be re-added ... was that what you were refering to with ... I ...

[PSS 2014][Bug] Primal Sense for custom c# Library

PSS Version: 2014 4.1.63 OS Version: Windows 7 x64 WMF Version: 4.0 Impact: Moderate Symptom: After adding a custom c# library file (.dll) to the available Assemblies, primal sense will fail for anything but the root namespace. The Library explorer will show the full structure, however unpredictabl...

Yupp.

Though you can place an Installer for the VMware PowerCLI on a network share and place a few lines in your module that will install it on the local machine, if it's not installed yet.

Re: Proxy registration woes.

Hi gvon, the Powershell Studio autoformatter ignores strings, so why not give this a try: Get-Date -Uformat "%Y%m%d%H%M%S" Furthermore, you can easily manually undo this pasting behavior by correcting it after pasting. Not a perfect situation, but the best compromise available, I think. Cheers, Bosp...

Re: [PSS2014] All the little things

Hi David, would love to, however I can't (my boss would crucify me), since it's a fairly large portion of my and my teammates work this past year. Hm ... I'll set up a fake Project with some files and fill them programmatically with extensive comments and let it run, maybe that will work too. If it ...

Re: [PSS2014] All the little things

Hi David, the lag alas is not cured by closing the project and reopening it (or another, smaller project). I cannot say whether the project size matters at all for this effect (The only project I have open for that kind of extended time is my primary PS library). However I can confirm from a colleag...

[PSS2014] All the little things

Hi guys, I've been writing down all those minor irritations that happen to me that individually don't really have much in the way of an effect (and all have trivial workarounds). So I thought I'd just chuck the lot at you, not really expecting a fix for most of them (they are minor irritations, real...

Re: [PSS2014] Wishlist

Hi David, been reading that blog post you mentioned, and it's awesome! Thank you. Since I had some trouble with following the guide I did some search in the options section and stumbled into an unnoticed switch you set there (don't know in which version, might have missed it earlier). Thanks for imp...

Re: Powershell Studio crashes when opening PS1 from UNC path

Hi adbertram,

actually, I was thinking about figuring out whether the problem is the path, or the fact that it's remote access. Junctions would only fix the path issue ...

Re: Sapien Suite 2012 to Sapien Suite 2014?

Hi June,

do yourself a favor and upgrade. After a slightly bumpy start, it really is as smooth sailing as pdearmen said. And the new features rock!

Cheers,
