Using WMI over a WAN or VPN can definitely be a hurdle, and sometimes just not possible depending on the network configuration, which you may have no control over. If you like, post this topic in the forums at ScriptingAnswers.com and the community will offer the best advice it can.

There is when you specify the target folder during packaging. You can specify current folder of the executable. But you said user's don't have rights. What about adding alternate credentials to the package?

So if "SANtools" works with the script signer object, then use that name as the certificate.

Under Options, where it says Certificate, type in SANtools, Inc. click OK and then try signing a script.

Under Options - Script Settings - Script Security, when you click View Certificates do you see your certificate under the Personal tab? The certificate needs to be installed in the personal or user store.

When you create the package, in the Target folder section, did you specify current folder of the executable? That should give you what you need.
