What type of Database are you connecting to and what provider are you using? And do you get this error regardless of query i.e. other Views or Tables etc?

I was unable to reproduce this bug on the same configuration. I recommend trying the latest version of PrimalForms (1.0.3.0) and let me know if the issue persists.

The grid depends on the provider to load the information. According to the error results the fault is caused in the provider (myodbc5.dll) and not in the application code.
