If you wish to keep the script file external, make sure you set its Build property to Content. Then you will need to distribute the script the with executable.

I recommend using Add-Type over the assembly form for custom assemblies. The assemblies dialog works best with assemblies in the Global Assembly Cache. If it isn't in the cache, it will specify the absolute path of the assembly.

Unfortunately, you can not specify the location of the MessageBox. You would have to create your own form, so that you can move the location.

PowerShell Studio's designer doesn't support third party controls, but that doesn't mean you can't use them in your GUI scripts. You can export the GUI script (Ribbon->Deploy->Export->Export to File) or package it into an executable.

You can ignore the message since you renewed and are offline. Next time you update the software, it will update the subscription information (internet access needed of course).

Even if the subscription does lapse, the application will continue to function normally.

I was able to reproduce the error with a V5 Command line console engine running in a V2 only Windows 7 environment:

Try repackaging the script in a console engine so that you can see the output.
