About Catastrophic failure error message

I think I see the problem. The demo version needs to pop up a child dialog. This cannot be done from vbscript or WSH as there is no main window for the dialog to be a child of. The registered version does not disply this "demo" dialog and so should not be a problem for scripting since it DOES work u...

Listbox fill in VBScript on HTML

The issues you are having are with HTML/DHTML and the object moel for the IE browser. Very rfew scripters are completely familiar with DHTML as it is part of the Web development API and not a part of VB/VBS. A good book on DHTML would help if you plan on doing a lot of it.     b(0) = "ABC"
    b(1) = "DEF"
    b(2) = "GHI"
    For i = 0 to 2
         set oOption = document.createElement("OPTION")
         AvailableOptions.Options.add oOption

Logfile with Columns

Look into the ADO text file reader.

You can also import it into an Excel spreadsheet as a fixed width data file.

Terminate Process by Network Service

Try it this way:
objShell.Run("taskkill /F /FI ""USERNAME eq NT AUTHORITYNETWORK SERVICE"" /IM wmiprvse.exe")

Single quotes won't work on VBS run commands or in the shell.

script to check Forest-Wide group policy settings.

Jeff is correct. You have to manage each domain separately but they will all show in teh same GPMC console. There is a single export wizard that will let you export all GPOs for the domain.

ACL query

Tough question. Yes - their are many third party tools that can do this. No - there is no "builtin" method for doing thids in one command. You can use SUBINACL to query each individual server for the file, service and registry ACL entries. There is NO WAY using script with objects or WMI to get all ...
