Either create the file using the Excel COM interfaces or open it using the Excel object and do a "SaveAs" to convert the file.

Check the version of WSH.

W2K came with WSH 5.1. It may not have been upgraded. I don't think SP4 updated WSH.

Remove On Error REsume NExt and run script from copmmand prompt for a user account that is failing.

You are probably having authentication issues du to the use of teh WinNT provider.

Not sure but that's a good place to start.

MS says 2.0 is deprecated as of teh release of 3.0 so you should upgrade quickly.

You need 3.0 to get all of teh updates and reports.
