Working with error codes

I should probably clarify teh error management a bit. YOu turned off error checking permanently. Once you do this you have to check for errors on every line of code that can cause an error. YOu are not doing this. My fix is to turn error checking back on immedistely following the local error test th...

User ID Change Script

Best file CSV would be OldUser, NewUser "userid1","newuserid" This will allow for odd characters in the id if they exist. Assume input file like so: [c:myfile.csv] userid, newid "user01","newuser01" "user02,"newuser02" [end of file] import-csv users.csv |%{set-qaduser $_.userid -samaccountname $_.new...

Take resource offline in a cluster

I think the error means that you have a firewall blocking th eadmin ports but it may also be that you do not have admin on the cluster from teh account you are using. Look at teh KB as it references many of these issues with SQS on a cluster. The SQS may not be installed completely correctly on teh ...

vb script

Here is a straight simple solution. It will not tolerate any changes to the speraadsheet format but should give an idea of how this kind of situation need to be approached. You can see that it is trivial once you separate the steps out into usable funcoins and account for the "gatchas" like blank li...

to get a string from a notepad and use it in html

Hah - ust thought of another unique way to understand this message: The original post is for "jscript" and "notepad". Perhaps the user wants to read from an open notepad instance and convert it into html using jscript. Of course the reference to Javascript adds more confusion along with the request ...
