Windows 10

I was very disappointed with your email regarding product deactivation/activation prior to Windows 10. I would expect that professional software producers would provide a product update prior to the release of Windows 10 so that the product continued to work seamlessly - That's what Adobe did. You a...

Re: Display multi column csv file

It needs to be stored in a control on the form cause im doing other things with that list. Don't worry - ive implemented a listview.

Display multi column csv file

Greetings,

I have a CSV file with four columns that I would like to display in a form control. I could do this with a listbox, but can this be done easier with a datagrid? If so, how would I get the data into the datagrid control (in general)?

Thanks

Primalscript versions and renewal

I got an email to say Primalscript 2014 has expired. When I look at my registered products it only says I have primalscript 2014 registered. But I am running primalscript 2015 and when I try to register it , it says it's already registered???? So how do I know when 2015 expires and if my 2015 is bas...

Re: Causesvalidation and validating method

Figured it out. I misread the MS doco which says this about the causesvalidation property - "Gets or sets a value indicating whether the control causes validation to be performed on any controls that require validation when it receives focus." It was the "on any controls" that threw me. I thought if...

Causesvalidation and validating method

I have several controls that have validating events. All of this worked when all the controls had causesvalidation set to true but it wasnt a...

Re: Adding an external exe to the complied package

Yes I do know how to call an external exe. What I wanted to know is can it be embedded in the compiled exe for my project? And if that was possible if wouldn't have a path as such and therefore may need to be called some other way. I guess from your answer that it is not possible to embed it so ther...

Adding an external exe to the complied package

Greetings,

When I build my exe file from my project, is there any way to embed an external exe? I have a utility called "adfind.exe" which I would like to include with my package. And if this is possible, how do you call the exe file from within the powershell code?

Thanks

Re: New Here

Hi,
Create a webbrowser control on your form. Pull the html data/file into a variable and then display it in the control like this:
PowerShell Code
Double-click the code block to select all.
$webbrowser.DocumentText = $html
where $webbrowser is the name you've assigned to the control and $html is your pure html.

Cheers
David
