Re: Active links inside of a Label

Now I have a need to put a link to a page using one of those ugly sharepoint links. For example: https://xyz.xyz.xyz.com/Lists/Topics/DispForm2.aspx?ID=11&ContentTypeId=0x0100A876AD5820F98C4AABD89E4B38EE6C4C I don't want to put this ugly link in my Rich Textbox. Is there any way to make a " Click He...

Re: Validate text box content before enabling "Submit" button.

jvierra, Thanks so much for the help! I'm working now. The forum blog helped, but the samples were the best. Things that got me snagged: By default, the forms textbox did not have focus. I could hit Ok or Cancel and the form would close without validation. Fix: The TextBox property TabIndex had to b...

Re: Validate text box content before enabling "Submit" button.

I'm still struggling. I need to validate that a textbox has more than 10 characters when they click the 'allow access' button before I allow them to proceed. I couldn't figure out the validating event and tried the below instead. Although I get a correct popup, all the parts of the if loop close the...

Validate text box content before enabling "Submit" button.

I'd like to ensure content of a textbox is greater than 16 characters before I allow a user to click a "Submit" button on the form. Is there a way to make the Submit button grayed out until the textbox has at least 16 characters?

Re: Active links inside of a Label

Thanks to both of you. After trying, I see that I can enable DetectURLS and use the LinkClicked event handler. Still trying to figure out how to do this correctly. Just figured it out.. $richtextbox1_LinkClicked=[System.Windows.Forms.LinkClickedEventHandler]{ [System.Diagnostics.Process]::Start($_.L...

Re: Active links inside of a Label

I don't see how a RichTextBox would help. Does RichTextBox allow me to embed links?

Active links inside of a Label

I want to make the links highlighted in the attachment active links. All of the text in the form is inside of a "Label" control. Is the only way to make links active is by overlaying "LinkLabel" controls? My challenge with the LinkLabel control is that the verbiage in the form changes based on situa...

I've got three primary systems..

I've got a desktop, laptop, and Surface Pro that are all systems I use throughout the week; I'm the only sole user of all three. Can I get one additional activation so that I am complete?

Re: Form to the front

I'm having this problem also. My project is a single form project and my form is set to TopMost = True. The script runs in the background and waits for an event. The FIRST time it sees that event, the form launches behind other windows that are open. All SUBSEQUENT events it sees, it launches On Top...

Re: Will exe compiled scripts that use ActiveDirectory module run on systems that do not have it installed?

Thanks. I'm used to the old perl2exe. Any functions of modules you used were included in the exe so they could be run anywhere.

I ended up pulling the user attributes in a way that doesn't use the ad module.
new-object System.DirectoryServices.DirectorySearcher($dn)

Thanks.. still lots to learn.
