DataGridView button column

Hi everyone! This time I'm trying to add a button column to a DataGridView control, but I only want the button in each row to be enabled if certain parameters are met. What I'm having trouble with is designating the button I'm trying to disable/enable. I don't really have a code example because I'm ...

Re: Only trigger ItemCheck event on manual click

Huh, disabling the event and reenabling it never really occurred to me for some reason. That option worked perfectly, thanks guys!

Only trigger ItemCheck event on manual click

Hi guys, I'm back with another question! :D This time I'm trying to figure out a way I can prevent the $checkedlistbox1_ItemCheck event from triggering when I change the checkbox status programmatically. I want the event to trigger when a user clicks to check or uncheck a box, but not when I change ...

Re: Open secondary form on button press

Ah! Thank you!

For some reason all my searches were only coming up with references to Call-, so I was just stuck in a losing battle, I suppose.

That was exactly what I was missing. Thanks David!

Open secondary form on button press

Hi guys, I'm back! I have a new question this time, though; the solution for my previous problem is working. (Thanks for that btw) This time I'm trying to open a secondary form when a button is clicked, but when I try it I only get errors. I have tried running the project as a whole (ctrl-F4), and n...

Re: Multiple computers writing to a domain hosted file

I've seen a few posts and also heard from my colleagues that a database is the best option, so I will try to look into that for the long run. For now, it sounds like separate files are my best bet, so I think that's what I'll go with for the moment. Thank you everyone for your help! (I'll be back if...

Re: Multiple computers writing to a domain hosted file

We need more information! It will help if you tell us what cmdlet you're using to write the file to the share drive. :) Sorry! I'm using get-content and set-content to read and write. My code reads in the file, checks to see if that computer's version is already present, appends it if it's not ther...

Multiple computers writing to a domain hosted file

Hi everyone! New to the forums, so let me know if I do anything wrong. I'm writing a script for my company which runs on every necessary computer on our domain at once, updating a piece of software if needed, and then writes that software's version to a file on a network drive. The issue I'm encount...
