Re: PowerShell Studio Unhandled Exception

I've answered your questions below, however, I've been trying to reproduce the issue again on my end to get better steps and have been unsuccessful. If I run into it again I'll try to narrow it down to fewer steps. Hey Olga, I've attached the project below that I was working in when this error occur...

Re: PowerShell Studio Unhandled Exception

Of course, shortly after my previous reply I seem to have found some steps to reproduce the bug. Enable auto save every 1 minute in Options -> Backup Open a .ps1 script in PowerShell Studio and make some changes. Press the Alt key, bringing up the shortcut info for each item in the ribbon. Wait unti...

PowerShell Studio Unhandled Exception

Hey SAPIEN, I've been using a trial version of PowerShell Studio to help convince my bosses to buy some licenses and I keep encountering an error. I'm not certain what steps to take to cause it, but it usually happens when a file has been edited and the changes haven't been saved, but I have auto-sa...

Re: PowerShell writing to console out of order

It may seem odd, however, I find it much easier to read and document than the alternative you posted with piping.

Re: PowerShell writing to console out of order

I believe I get what you mean with Write-Host. If I swap out Write-Output with Write-Host, it does go to the console in the correct order. The problem at this point is the output that Write-Host sends, isn't formatted the way Write-Output is, so I'm wondering if there's a way to get Write-Output to ...

Re: PowerShell writing to console out of order

I'm not sure how Write-Host relates to this problem, as I'm using Write-Output.

And instead of combing through documentation for an answer, I was hoping someone here could help.

That said, I've attached my script to this reply.

PowerShell writing to console out of order

Hey all, I've been working on this script for work and ran into something weird. My script is available here and I've focused near the problem line. When I run this script it will output "Returned services:", then outputs the text for the Get-Index function, and after receiving the input will output...
