You cannot include an executable with your packaged script, but you can make an installer (MSI) for your packaged script and the additional executable. I have been able to reproduce this issue and have filed a bug report with the development team.
I did notice that the keyboard short 'Shift+F3' worked as expected for me when the Find/Replace dialog was open vs when the dialog was closed.

In the editor view, the cursor is the standard text cursor. As for the cursor growing in size, that sounds like settings you have set through your computer. There is no option to change cursor behavior in PowerShell Studio as of the latest build 5.8.249. Currently, there are no plans to change this ...
