When I look at the service settings in the GUI, it always the service is stopped. But the VRService.exe (I hope you eventually make this just VRService) is running. Or is there another service I'm overlooking? Running Windows 8 Pro x64. I'm on Server 2012 R2 and it shows as running with Get-Service...

When admins work with services from the command line, we're use to short names with no spaces like lanmanserver, bits and alerter. Having a space in the name is a a little awkward. Thats strange - I just did the ZIP and it gave me all my files and @@. I can;t test the CD because I don;t own one -- but the zip is working for me. I'll test on some other repo's

Thanks for the info regarding V3 support. As someone that does use PowerShell in production, I'm waiting for the bugs fixes at GA next month before I implement. The Help files for V3 aren't even finished yet. Keep us informed about the progress regarding Studio - looking forward to the update.
